You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you must not:
- Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose;
- Send spam or unsolicited communications through the Service;

6. Payments, subscriptions, and Merchant of Record
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by the Paddle Buyer Terms. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in accordance with those terms.

We work hard to keep the Service running, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
9. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Service is capped at the fees you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where such exclusion is not permitted by law.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay fees when due, present a security or fraud risk, or engage in repeated or serious policy violations. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; we may delete your data after a reasonable export window.
11. User content
You retain ownership of any content you submit. You grant us a limited, worldwide license to host, store and process that content solely to provide the Service.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Scholarium Inc. is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The courts of that jurisdiction will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except where mandatory local consumer law provides otherwise.
