The Starry Night

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Starry_NightEvery source, license, and attribution used across our initiatives.
Why this page exists. Educators, parents, and students should always be able to trace the source of a fact, image, or 3D model. Every learning card in our initiatives links back to its origin — Wikipedia, Wikidata, the holding museum, or the original Sketchfab creator — with a license and a note on how to verify it.
Wikipedia is a great starting point. Peer-reviewed studies (e.g. Nature, 2005) found its accuracy comparable to traditional encyclopedias, and it updates faster. To verify a claim, scroll to References, cross-check linked museum records and Wikidata, and read the Talk and View history tabs for contested content.
In-copyright works (e.g. Picasso, Basquiat, Lawrence, Kahlo, Hopper, Wood, O'Keeffe) are shown under fair use for educational study and commentary, with clear attribution to the rights holder.
